Mehmet Akif Karaman

I'm Mehmet Akif Karaman. For more than 20 years I have been an experienced VFX supervisor in the visual effects world. I specialise in FX, simulations and procedural workflows. The works I produce span a wide range, offering all kinds of visual experiences from demolitions, dust, flame and smoke effects, even fluid simulations. Maya and Houdini are my main tools I use in my creative work. However, I also use professional-level software such as Realflow, Redshift, Vray and After Effects effectively. I have worked as a VFX supervisor in projects broadcast on important platforms such as Netflix. I have undertaken the visual effects supervision of many commercial films in Turkey and abroad and I continue my work in this field. I am dedicated to continuous improvement and I am always open to learning innovative skills.
